![]() For example, the second 'Costumes' line is Beck, from Mighty No. I'll re-purchase the game at some point if somebody figures out how to play as Beck. Go down to ' NRZGame.NRZCostumeManager' (line 276) Underneath this youll see 7 lines, each referring to the 7 outfits that are in-game, including the Shirtless outfit that was never released Decide which one you want to play as. You'll be invisible and there will be a floating sword around you that is static and doesn't do anything. They're easy to find and named along the lines of "Costume Beck.upk." I tried renaming the Beck costume file to Default Yaiba's filename and the game does work when you do this, but when you get into gameplay the character model won't load. The end result is that the game will crash at launch if you do any of this.Īnother thing I tried was finding the actual files for the costumes and renaming them. I tried all of the different combinations with each of these files. I tried setting the default costume ID to 1 (Beck's entry), flip-flopping the costume entries around, and setting the default costume to direct to Beck's costume files. There are three different config files that reference the alternate costumes, one in your My Documents folder, and two different ones within the game's steam directory. I poked around in the game settings files and tried to modify them to set the Beck costume as the default costume, but it wouldn't work. I ended up refunding the game, the novelty of playing a zombie hack and slash as Beck was all that I wanted to do. ![]()
